There is no required passing grade for the Hazard Perception Evaluation(HPE). The assessment is designed to identify areas where further training may be beneficial; therefore, you cannot ‘fail’ the assessment. Once you have completed the assessment, you will be provided with a breakdown of how you scored. These results are provided in order intended to provide further context for the defensive driver training courses that you will be assigned going forward.
